Why the laundry isn't folded and put away...

Okay, some of this is Amy Power's (of Inspire Co. fame) fault because of her fabulous online magazine which can be found for a crazy low $3.50 here . It's unbelievable how many great ideas there are in her mags. So, I copied one of her ideas and made two birthday wish hanging boxes plus a lot of other stuff. Really, I've literally (more photos when they are installed in my shop) been in my workroom all day the last three days and have made some fun stuff; these are just a few. So, when not working on art, I'm outside (when it's not been raining-sorry, Texas, but we are having a couple of days break from rain after every day this week and forecast for all next week) snapping some photos of all the color. If you know me you know that I'm not Maryland's biggest fan but it's hard to beat spring here-soooo dang green. And with so much rain this year it's really, really green and our trees are now growing like several feet every year. Lantana is my favorite. Everyone here says not to put out flowers until Mother's Day to be safe from freezing, but we all know I'm not "everyone". Sheesh, wait until May? The season is way too short here to start late and I hang on to the annuals until they are begging to be put out of their misery. Continuing to baffle the guys until I get a new porch, I'm putting all the funk up here! Well, the bath sink is still in the flower bed in the yard but...now you know.

No way am I going to block you! :) I love when people who have "been there, done that, and lived to tell the tale" find me. Plus, your blog is filled with all kinds of fabulousness.

Thanks for the great advice :)

Have you gone MIA? I've been waiting patiently for an update from you about your Texas trip and dancing with me on stage with the band.

You pulled off a great event....from miles and states away. You are woman...hear you roar!

xoxo, Julia
