this is my reality...

I love those pictures that artists post of the glitter spilling over the antique sheet music with the perfectly curled silk ribbon where the most fab embellishments are laid out for an optimum visual. I do, I really love those pictures, they are so inspiring. But here's reality for me...
...two days in the "cave" and this is what it looks like. And this is even after I've parsed through my ribbon jungle and am getting ready to post a huge lot of them for sale on Etsy. You are certainly correct if you think that this situation inhibits my creativity. Although I got enough accomplished to feel good about myself and put me on a roll that is continuing, I've still got to clean up my act more before any more productivity can be expected. My 21 year old son is moving out next week and I'm actually cooking up a rotating rooms idea...stay tuned for details as to the explosion that will be the guys' heads as I sneak this info into their "don't change a thing" mentalities...

Dang girl - that looks just like home! And everytime I try to clean it up, I get distracted by the cornucopia of crap, I mean craft, supplies and I end up having to make something! I have a sign in my kitchen that says that only dull women have immaculate houses. The same for craft studios?

Love the mess! More people should show this side of life more often. I get tired too of people saying "oh this is a mess or that's a mess" when it's really not. Now you have a mess. And it's great!
